Department : Risk Management Reporting Line : Head Credit Risk Management Location: Head Office Job Objectives : To ensure seamless processing and excellent service delivery in credit availability whilst ensuring strict adherence to bank’s credit policies. Role & Responsibilities Manage Credit Availment and Loan disbursement shop to ensure timely and error free processing.Ensure that all properly approved facilities with all terms and conditions met for Head Office availment are treated with dispatch.Ensure proofing of accounts and clean-up of all open items.Ensure collection of all Bank interest and fees income.Ensure Bank Check are issued where stipulated by credit availment tickets.Ensure cordial and friendly relationship with all internal customers and external and regulatory agencies such as COBAC, BEAC and External Auditors.Wait promptly for correspondence and inquiries.Resolve issues and challenges for better service deliveryOrganize on the job and external training programmed to empower staff with relevant skills to enhance excellent performance.Evolve a crop of multi-disciplinary skilled staff for the actualization of the Group objectivesAuthorization of processed jobs. It brings together in its network in Africa, companies, microfinance institutionsand insurance companies.As part of its activities, FOCEP SA is recruiting a Head of Compliance Department.YOUR MISSION.Reporting to the Director of Internal Controller, Risk and Compliance, the Head ofCompliance is responsible for managing risks related to non-compliance. His main activitiesare as follows:– Ensure that all FOCEP SA operations comply with the laws, regulations andstandards in force; – Identify, assess and mitigate non-compliance risks and propose corrective measures ; – Raise staff awareness of compliance policies and best practices; – Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators; – Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to microfinance and adapt the institution’s practices accordingly. YOUR PROFILE. You hold a BAC + 3/4 in audit-management control, private law or any other equivalent training diploma. You have at least 03 years of professional experience in compliance management in a financial institution. You have mastery of the use of IT tools, Ms OFFICE software (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, etc.). You have a good command of COBAC regulations, strong writing skills, a sense of communication, a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis. You are proactive, rigorous and have an eye for detail. You have a perfect command of the French language. Mastery of the English language is an asset.
